I've never used an online print shop before, what kind of services do you offer?

Jakprints is equipped to handle all of your print needs from the mundane to the unique — including custom requests. And, as one of our many green initiatives, we plant one tree with every order. So, you can feel good that your prints are only making the good kind of impact.

Can I place multiple orders with Jakprints and receive a discount?

No. Pricing is not discounted for placing multiple orders, however if you are placing more than 5 orders in one day contact your account manager to further discuss the details of your project and we may be able to offer you a one-time courtesy discount.

What is the standard turnaround time for orders?

All of our Full Color, Sticker and Large Format products list estimated turnaround times in their product description. See below for rush options.

Apparel Products — like, Screen Printing, Embroidery, Dye Sublimation and Direct To Garment Printing — do not have standard turnaround times due to the large amount of customization available on apparel. Every order is completely unique. That being said, turnaround (including shipping) is typically within 2–3 weeks from the time that your order is submitted. See below for rush options.

Can I rush my order?

Yes, though rush fees may apply. Turnaround times are based on the complexity of your order and are guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis. To guarantee your ship date, we’ll need:

  • Complete Order Details
  • Print-Ready Files
  • Shipping Address
  • Valid Payment

You will be contacted before your payment is processed to approve any fees. If we can’t meet your in-hands date, you may cancel your order without any penalties.

Can I order items that are not on

Absolutely! Give us a call or request a custom quote for the items you need.

Can I send my order or quote via email instead of the website?

While the website is the best method of order or quote placement (it asks all of the questions we need to produce your project smoothly and quickly), you're welcome to email us! Please give us a call to speak to a dedicated Account Manager who can provide you with their email address to get things moving forward.

If you do decide to email, please make sure to send your files along with the following information:

  • Sizing
  • Apparel or Paper Stock
  • Apparel Colors (If Applicable)
  • Quantity
  • Proofing Options (No Proof, Digital Proof or Hardcopy Proof)
  • Shipping Address
  • In-Hands Date
  • Jakprints Account Number

Can you scan my artwork?

Yes.  Pricing is dependent on what the scanned image will be used for. 

  • Full Color Scans  25¢ Per Square Inch / $20 Minimum
  • Giclée Art Print Scans $75 Per Scan
  • Apparel Scans 25¢ Per Square Inch / $20 Minimum
  • Sticker Scans ​25¢ Per Square Inch / $20 Minimum

*If color corrections, removal of scratches, touch ups, etc., are necessary a $50 fee will apply.

Does Jakprints do tours?

Yes! Feel free to contact your Account Manager to get something set up. If you're able to, please print and fill out the Waiver ahead of time, it will help keep your tour on time.

Shipping Questions

Domestic and International shipping.

How do I figure out my shipping cost when ordering prints?

Domestic Rates: If the items are shipping within the continental U.S., Alaska or Hawaii, pricing is just a few clicks away.  Simply head on over to the product page of what you would like to order, select the stock, size and quantity, and just below the "create order" button, enter the zip code of where the items are headed and we'll handle the rest.

International Rates: If you are shipping internationally, things can get tricky and we'd like to get you the best rates possible. The easiest way to figure out how much shipping will be is to place a quote.  This way, we can assess the value of your order, where it's going and get you the least expensive price we can.  For more information on International Shipping, check out the next FAQ.

Do you ship to countries outside of the United States?

We sure do. But, in order to calculate your shipping cost and transit time, we have to know the exact value of your order; i.e., the exact dollar amount on your invoice. Please submit a quote so that we can pre-calculate these details before you’ve submitted your order.

We insure/declare all shipments for their actual "per piece" value. If you are sending any shipments internationally, the recipient will be required to pay duties/taxes by their nation in order to obtain possession of their shipment. This charge is not determined my Jakprints or UPS/FedEx/DHL but by the recipient country's government. We ship internationally as a courtesy to our customers and assume no liability for these charges.

We are not able to predetermine or estimate these fees ahead of time. They are calculated by customs upon arrival of the package. Questions regarding duties, taxes, tariffs, limitations and requirements should be directed toward your shipping provider or the receiving country’s Customs Department.

Can I have my order split and shipped to multiple addresses?

Jakprints can split your order and ship to multiple addresses for immediate delivery when your order is complete. However, we are a production facility and not a fulfillment house. We cannot warehouse orders or ship to individual customers.

You must have valid shipping addresses at the time of order submission. Please ask your Account Manager about guaranteeing an in-hands date if you are only going to be at your shipping address location for a short time.

If I have multiple orders with Jakprints at once, can you hold my orders and ship them together?

Unfortunately, no. Since we are production facility and not a warehouse, we do not have space to hold your items while your other orders are wrapping up. 

Billing Questions

Payments, invoices and tax exempt status.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept most major credit cards, and check or money order by mail or in our office. Please note checks are deposited within 1-2 business days after receipt. We do require your full deposit to begin printing of your order.

Do you accept PayPal?

PayPal and other electronic payments are not available at this time.

Can you invoice me?

Billing terms may be available to established businesses with application approval.

Why is my credit card declined?

If you receive a decline when attempting to process your credit card, it could be for a variety of reasons. Please verify that your card is not expired, has been activated, the billing address is correct and the information has been entered as shown on the card. If you have reviewed these possible triggers to cause a rejected payment, you may need to contact your card provider to troubleshoot the issue further or remove any holds or limits they may have placed for security reasons. Once you have done so you can contact us or attempt the charge again.

My credit card was declined, although I see a pending charge on my bank account. Did you receive my payment?

Attempting to run a credit card with incorrect information (such as a worn security code or misentered expiration date) may cause a pending charge on your account even though our terminal has declined it for security reasons. We will not capture funds or receive any payment when this occurs. Please contact your card provider and ask they remove the pending charge so you may re-enter the card information correctly. Otherwise, this charge will fall off the account typically within a few days. The pending charge may appear normal to your card provider, so please let us know if you need verification of the decline or any further assistance with processing your payment. Do not attempt to run your card multiple times if you do not know the correct information due to your security code being worn as this will only incur further pending charges. We suggest requesting a new card and using another form of payment. Please contact us directly if you have questions or concerns.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Orders shipping to Ohio and California are subject to any applicable federal, state and regional sales taxes. See our Tax Exemption Guidelines for more info on applying for exempt status. 

My business or my clients business is tax exempt. How do I ensure tax will not be charged to my invoice?

If you are tax exempt and in the state of Ohio or picking up from our office we require you complete a blanket exemption form for our files. If you already have this form, you can complete it and return via fax to 866.900.0901 or email. If you need a copy of the form, please contact us. We do not need your form for out of state orders as they are not taxed unless picked up in our offices. Please indicate your account number or order number when sending the form to ensure it is applied to your account correctly. *Please be sure to contact us prior to entering a credit card in your order or tax will be charged if we have not yet received the form and updated your file.

If you are tax exempt and in the state of California we require you complete a California Resale Certificate for our files. If you already have this form, you can complete it and return via fax to 866.900.0901 or email. Please indicate your account number or order number when sending the form to ensure it is applied to your account correctly. *Please be sure to contact us prior to entering a credit card in your order or tax will be charged if we have not yet received the form and updated your file.

If your client is tax exempt, but you generally are not please let us know that we should not update your account to be exempt for every order. We ask you register your client an account and send the form over as directed above. When ordering in the future for this client, you can enter their account number into the bill to section of the invoice to ensure tax is removed. *Please be sure to contact us prior to entering a credit card in your order or tax will be charged if we have not yet received the form and updated your order.
